Ganadores de la 37ª edición de los Daytime Emmys

Los ganadores de los Daytime Emmys se entregaban el pasado domingo 27 de junio en el hotel Hilton de Las Vegas y eran emitidos por CBS. Estos galardones reconocían los mejores programas que se emitieron desde las 2 de la madrugada hasta las seis de la tarde durante 2009.

Entre las cadenas, la más galardonada era PBS con 16 premios, seguida de Nickelodeon y ABC con 10, CBS con 5, Sindicación con 4, Food con 3, CW y NBC con 2 y Disney Channel, Fox, Fox Reality, HBO, Ion, MTV, The Style Network y Travel Channel con 1.

Entre los triunfadores se encontraban Ellen DeGeneres que ganaba en la categoría de Talk Show de entretenimiento; la veterana Martha Stewart con su programa de estilo de vida y los seriales, la ya cancelada As the World Turns con tres premios en categorías de actuación, y Hospital General con el de actriz revelación y guión.

El premio al mejor drama iba a parar a The Bold and The Beautiful y el mejor informativo matinal a Today. En cuanto al mejor concurso era para Cash Cab que recibía también el galardón al mejor presentador, Ben Bailey.
